Have you ever been on a floating pontoon in the middle of the ocean? If not, you need to! Seventh Heaven in Fiji, is a floating pontoon with a restaurant, bar, music, and endless water sports. If you’re looking for an awesome experience while you’re visiting Fiji, this is for you! We actually visited Seventh Heaven on our very last day in Fiji (the day we departed for the airport actually) and it was the perfect end to an incredible time in the Fiji islands!
You can watch our video here showing our time on Seventh Heaven:
What is Seventh Heaven?
Seventh Heaven is a floating pontoon in the Mamanuca islands in Fiji. Only a 45 minute boat ride from Port Denarau, it’s a great day trip option from Nadi. Seventh Heaven is a 2 story building, with plenty of seating areas, a bar and restaurant, and the ocean right off the side.
What is there to do at Seventh Heaven?
Seventh Heaven has tons to do for the day. There are loungers, sofas, and chairs to relax. You can eat food or drinks from the bar. You can get a massage. You can snorkel with the fish. You can kayak around the ocean. You can even jump the “Leaf of Faith”, a 5 meter dive off the top deck.
What is included at Seventh Heaven?
Your price includes
-transfers to and from Port Denarau
-a welcome drink and local snack on arrival
-use of water sports
Cloud 9 or Seventh Heaven?
Cloud 9 is another floating pontoon and restaurant in Fiji. Cloud 9 has been around longer than Seventh Heaven, so it’s a little bit more well known. We went back and forth between the two when we were deciding which one to visit. A few things that made us decide on Seventh Heaven.
First, Seventh Heaven is newer than Cloud 9, meaning the facilities are all newer, and there are also more bathrooms. Seventh Heaven isn’t as well known as Cloud 9, meaning better chance if it not being as busy. And lastly, Seventh Heaven doesn’t allow children under 10. We don’t have kids, so that is not a problem.
I’m sure both Cloud 9 and Seventh Heaven are enjoyable. They are very similar, in terms of a floating pontoon with a restaurant, bar, and water activities. You really can’t go wrong.
Seventh Heaven is an awesome day trip from Port Denarau. If you have time while you’re visiting Fiji make time for Seventh Heaven. You get to spend the day in the middle of the ocean!
