Quiet and Peaceful Island that you must visit!

Thailand is full of world renown islands.  Phuket and Phi Phi Islands are the most popular Islands, but with popularity comes lots of tourists!  If you are aren’t a big fan of large crowds like us, we suggest that you make your way to the beautiful little island of Koh Lanta.   Its a short boat ride from the Phi Phi Islands and there is a real small Island feel to Lanta.  Primarily because it is a really small island. We were able to ride up and down the whole island on scooters in less that 30 mins.  The people there are so laid back and friendly.  You will not find vendors on the beaches, and people hustling you for foot massages.  I almost forgot to mention we saw some of the most beautiful sunsets while we were there.

We will be in Central America in 1 week! Can't wait to eat all their amazing dishes. And hoping to see sunsets better than this one in Thailand. #Travel #InstaTravel #Traveling #Wanderlust #Photography #TravelGram #International #Jetsetter #Instatraveling #traveler #travelcouple #paradise #vacation #travelphotography #adventure #beach #adventure #food #foodporn #thailand #costarica #Nicaragua #Kohlanta #sunset #igsunsets #centralamerica #ocean #workflow

Can't wait to return to our favorite quiet little island in Koh Lanta, Thailand. #TBT #TakeMeBack #Memories #Thailand #KohLanta #Beach #Vacay #Vacation #Travel #Ocean #AndamanSea #IslandLife #Wanderlust #Jetsetter #SEAsia

We did so much in the 4 days that we were there and we tried to fit it into this 2 minutes clip.  If you are in Thailand and have a chance to go Island hoping, make sure to plan a stay in Koh Lanta!

Such a beautiful Island – and definitely preferable to Koh PhiPhi or Phuket. I’d like to say thanks for sharing – but I’d love to keep Koh Lanta quiet for a few more years 😉

Yes I would agree-it’s hard to share about this island because we really don’t want it getting too popular 🙂

Love the elephant walking through the jungle and the private beach you guys found! I actually just came back from Thailand, from an even smaller island than Koh Lanta! I was in Koh Lipe and was able to walk around the whole island in about 2 hours! Can’t wait to explore more of the country!

Thank you for posting this. I am not a big fan of large crowds like you either. Video was informative, I like riding an elefant very much.

This is the perfect beach for not as many people! Hopefully it doesn’t turn into a more popular island though!

Wow, AMAZING sunsets! Koh Lanta sounds truly fantastic. We’ve just settled into a permanent base in Australia, and flights to Thailand are usually pretty reasonable in price, so we’ll have to start planning a trip here for 2016 🙂

    Thanks for the inspiration!

So beautiful! I’ve never been to Thailand but one of the things that always stopped me (as well as budget…) is how crowded many places seem to be with tourists. It’s great to see that it’s still possible to find quieter beaches like this – your post makes me want to work on my Thailand budget harder 🙂

Fabulous sunsets ! I’m not a big fan of Thailand even if I had an awesome experience with burmese monks in Mae Sot. I spent so many days with them that I haven’t been to the south. But maybe one day as you gave a good sight on Koh Lanta. Did you know there’s a reality show in France (I don’t know if it exists somewhere else) that happens there ? The candidates have to live in precarious conditions and win some competitions like eating alive worms…

You’re not the first blog that I’ve read that has suggested Koh Lanta…I’m going to have to make it a stop on my upcoming trip!

I was in Phuket and then Krabi last month. I came across the name but didn’t know Koh Lanta was such a gem. I will be going to Krabi again as I couldn’t have my fill of the place. Will definitely go and send a couple of days on Koh Lanta too.
