Are you traveling and don’t have access to a gym? There are still plenty of ways to get a good workout in! We love to workout, even on the road, but sometimes it can be challenging to get a solid sweat in. A bodyweight workout is one of the easiest ways to get a workout in while traveling. Its easy to do in your hotel room and you don’t need any equipment besides yourself!
We have a ton of different circuits that you can do on the road, but today we’re sharing our favorite bodyweight workout from our trip to Puerto Rico.
Here is an easy 4 exercise circuit that we “enjoyed” on our patio overlooking the ocean 🙂
- bodyweight squats
- jump squats
You can choose to do the exercises for a set amount of time or set amount of reps. We chose to do 10 reps of each exercise for 4 rounds through. This video is our fourth and final round so we are moving a little slower than we were at the beginning. But the goal is to move through the circuit as fast as possible for maximum results! You can change out the exercises if you’d like, but try to complete the whole circuit with little to no rest.
It’s fun for us to change from our heavy weights that we usually do in the gym, to a fast-paced bodyweight circuit. Although that doesn’t mean it’s easy. The circuit should be fast, going through as quickly as possible and resting as little as possible, to get the most out of it!
Set the timer for 15 minutes and get through as many rounds as possible of the bodyweight workout, then go enjoy your vacation!
